Stanthorpe wineon the high altitude Granite Belt (near Stanthorpe). We attribute our quality and success to our hands on contact with all facets of the production process, and of course our love of wine. In 2006-09 Kominos won 4 trophies, 6 gold, 18 silver and 44 bronze medals in open National competition, with James Halliday picking Kominos Merlot, as their signature wine in his 2007 Wine Atlas of Australia.
